We're thrilled to announce that the first shipment of SHASN: AZADI has departed for the port in China and will soon be en route to the United States! AZADI is on its way to you at last!
If you’re a backer in the US, here’s the name of the vessel you can use to track the shipment: SeaSpan Kobe.
We’ll be sharing all the other vessel details as and when the ships leave the port.

Attention - Failed Card Charges! + Shipping Rates

Greetings Fellow Rebels!
Approximately 300 backers did not have their cards charged. If you are one of them, you should have received an email asking you to update your card details on BackerKit. If you haven’t, please follow this link for help: https://help.backerkit.com/article/651-how-do-i-update-my-payment-method
We’ll charge the failed cards again on Monday, 12th August. If your charge failed, please update your card details by then.
On Shipping
We understand that there have been some concerns around the shipping rates. Global shipping has indeed become a little more expensive and painful in the past couple of years. However, we’ve done our best to keep the rates fair and as low as possible, proportional to the weight of each pledge.
For example, the shipping estimate for a single copy of AZADI to the US was $35. The actual cost has gone up to $40. The SHASN+AZADI bundle is two games, approximately weighing 25 pounds. This increases if you have also ordered add-ons.
The booster pack also has its own weight. But as promised, we have not included its shipping cost. There is no markup on the rates from our side. We are simply passing on the best rates that we have procured after extensive effort.
Lastly, shipping will begin shortly! We’ll put the tracking details of the ships the second they leave the port. We will also be able to give you updates about the ??? Deck as soon as it ships.

Shipping Rates Updated! Cards Being Charged on 24th July!

Please keep an eye out for a charge on your cards from Gadfly Inc - that’s us!
We have the shipping rates at last and they are being updated on BackerKit.
We’re going to charge your cards on the 24th of July.
In case you want to plan your expenses for a little later, we’ll charge the cards again on the 2nd of August.
If your budget would prefer the charge in August, please remove your card details before the 24th of July, and add them back before the 2nd of August.
Once this is done, shipping will finally begin in the first half of August!

We’re happy to share that we have finalized the shipping rates for all regions. We're now in the process of updating these rates on BackerKit, where you'll soon be able to see the exact cost of shipping for your specific location. However, please note that freight rates are still pending, and we're following up constantly with our logistics partners to secure the best possible rates for you.
We apologize for the brief delay in charging your cards - but they will be charged very soon! Reminder - the charge will be from GADFLY INC. For those of you in the UK, we ask for a little more patience. We're navigating the VAT requirements there and it should be sorted soon.
On the manufacturing front, things are moving full steam ahead. The team is working tirelessly with our partners in China across time zones to ensure that every component of SHASN: AZADI meets the highest standards of quality.

Production Update!

Greetings fellow rebels!
The revolution is right around the corner! We are locking all addresses for the delivery of SHASN: AZADI on the 20th of April. Mark your calendars and make sure your delivery details are correct.
We will also update the shipping rates on BackerKit in a few days. We will charge your cards on the 3rd of May. The charge will be from GADFLY INC. Shipping begins very soon - mid May onwards!
Thank you so much for your patience. We know it’s been a long, hard wait. We’ve been stubbornly going back to manufacturing with every small imperfection, because we believe you deserve nothing less than a perfect product. It took some time trial and error to solve and re-manufacture two elements:
- The Box
The box couldn’t handle AZADI. No, literally. There are so many game components that even after neatly organising them with our inserts, the box was uncomfortably stuffed, and started coming apart at the seams.
We had to resize the box and reprinting is currently underway after the first round of manufacturing. Now, the box is a snug fit at last.
The first round of metal components that were manufactured - the crown, the flag, and the fort - had weak points and would break easily. We had to remake the molds and remanufacture these metal components to make them sturdy and durable. Here are the final ones.
After losing some time to the important pause of the Chinese New Year holidays, we made sure to fix these manufacturing hiccups ASAP, so that you can play AZADI soon. We also had to spend some time renegotiating the manufacturing costs, and figure out how to absorb the rising prices ourselves.
All of that is now done. We are now in the middle of our final leg of manufacturing. This is it.
